back to questions

Yes. The color can be changed at any time by simply applying a new protective top coat. All other layers of the multi-phase coating system, including the 15 mil thick layer of ceramics, remain intact. Changing the color costs no more that a good commercial paint job…and you get a new 25 year guarantee!

back to questions

Yes. Liquid Stucco is vapor permeable. It’s like Gortex or human skin, it exhales without inhaling.

back to questions

IS IT WATERPROOF?

Yes. A separate layer of waterproofing is applied to the walls of your home under very high pressure as part of the coating system. When your coating consultant comes out to give you your free estimate ask him to demonstrate this amazing waterproofing.

IS IT FIRE RESISTANT?

The cedar sided home of Mike & Joanne Koscielski, 529 Calle De La Sierra, El Cajon California, was in the middle of an entire hillside of homes that were engulfed in flames during the 2003 conflagration in San Diego, California when the fire department finally let the residents back into the neighborhood the Koscielski’s was one of the few homes left standing. The owners are convinced that were it not for the ceramic-based Liquid Stucco that was recently installed on their house they would have arrived home to a bed of ashes. For pictures and more details of this amazing story go to the San Diego web site for Liquid Stucco and Liquid Siding: www.888neverpaint.com

Liquid Stucco is the only product on the market today that applies a separate 15 mil thick layer of ceramics as a distinct and independent part of the coating system. Fire resistance is only one of the many benefits of the ceramics. To customers in high fire risk areas it may be the most important.

back to questions

DOES IT SOUNDPROOF?

Customers who live on busy streets, near freeways, under the flight path of airplanes and in areas of high wind claim that after Liquid Stucco’s ceramic based coating system was installed over their entire home they found that their homes were quieter!

back to questions

DOES IT INSULATE? DOES IT SAVE ON UTILITIES?

Yes. Liquid Stucco is a ceramic based coating system. It creates a radiant thermal barrier which keeps the heat out in the summer, the heat in, in the winter. The degree to which Liquid Stucco insulates and saves on utilities depends on when, how and with what materials your home was originally built. Owners of older homes nationwide claim they experienced a marked increase in insulation and a marked decrease in utility bills after installing Liquid Stucco on their entire home.

back to questions

Most jobs can be completed in two weeks.

back to questions

CAN IT BE USED ON HISTORICAL HOMES IN HISTORICAL DISTRICTS?
WILL MY HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION APPROVE IT?

Yes. Liquid Stucco has been approved by and used in historical districts across the nation. It has been endorsed by countless architectural approval committees. These groups like the fact that it doesn’t fade, comes in an almost unlimited array of colors, does not in any way change the look of the exterior walls that it goes over and that it locks the structure in time, preserving it for future generations.

back to questions

CAN I PUT IT ON MYSELF?

The application of the Liquid Stucco system is a very labor intensive process. Only trained technicians with special equipment may apply Liquid Stucco.

back to questions

IS IT TOXIC?

Liquid Stucco has recently received the endorsement of the American Environmental Review for being environmentally friendly. They recommend Liquid Stucco in place of vinyl siding or plastic paint products. According to their studies, the PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) in these products created dioxins and other carcinogens that cause cancer.

The American Environmental Review recommends Liquid Stucco as the best product on the market today to protect the exterior of your home.

back to questions

WHAT ABOUT THE CRACKS IN MY STUCCO?

Nothing ruins the appearance of a stucco home like walls full of cracks. Before Liquid Stucco is installed large stucco cracks are V-opened by hand, waterproofed and filled with a permanent bonding material that never cracks, dries out or falls out and that bends, flexes and stretches with the house as it moves and settles over the years. Liquid Stucco has a 645% stretch ratio and is guaranteed never to crack. Your stucco is restored to its original beauty, locked in time and guaranteed to stay that way.

back to questions

CAN IT BE APPLIED TO DECKS AND WALKING SURFACES?

Liquid Stucco has a 645% stretch ratio. This is the good news for the walls of you home because when the house moves and settles the elastopolymer coating system bends, stretches and flexes to eliminate cracks. If you walk on a stretchable product you run the risk of damaging it. We therefore do not recommend Liquid Stucco for decks and walking surfaces.

CAN LIQUID SIDING HELP SELL MY HOME? WHEN AND IF I DO SELL, HOW MUCH OF MY MONEY CAN I EXPECT TO GET BACK?

Anyone who has ever owned a home knows it’s a money pit. Now imagine buying a home that comes with a fully transferable, non-prorated warranty, a home that never has to be painted again. What would that be worth? What is years and perhaps decades of pre-paid maintenance worth? According to realtors nationwide a homeowner typically recoups 75-85% of a home improvement such as a kitchen or bath remodel, roof or siding.

Picture trying to sell your home during a slump in the real estate market. Now picture two similar homes for sale, one that looks old and shabby with peeling paint and one that looks freshly painted-one that has to be repainted every few years and one that never has to be painted again. Which one is the knowledgeable buyer going to purchase? The point is, in a tough real estate market, Liquid Stucco could help sell your home and help sell it more quickly.

back to questions

WHAT DOES IT COST? CAN I GET AN ESTIMATE OVER THE PHONE?

It is impossible to tell what it is going to cost to coat a home without doing an on-site inspection. Age, current condition, the amount of preparation that may be necessary, the size of the job, what discounts the company may or may not be offering at the time of year you want the work done, all these things impact the price. We don’t want to mislead you. That is why we offer a free,
No obligation estimate.

But since you asked…Liquid Stucco is guaranteed to last a minimum of 25 years so it is going to cost more that one paint job. It is a lot less expensive than restuccoing your home or repainting it every few years. Typically it costs about 2 to 3 times what a good commercial paint job costs. Think of it like pre-paid life insurance – it is pre-paid maintenance. Over time it’s about a third the cost of any other available alternative for the exterior protection of your home, making it one of the best home improvement values on the market today.
