LYCOPODIUM BASED SURFACE CONDITIONER:
A sealer, primer, conditioner and waterproofer and the first of three primers that are applied to your home, the stain blocking primer acting as the second primer and the ceramic thermal coat acting as the third.
The lycopodium is an Alkyd Bonding Agent which means it dries tacky so the next phase will stick to it. Think of it as liquid glue. It really tightens up your exterior siding material. The molecules of the Lycopodium are smaller than the molecules of any existing paint or stain that may still be on your house after preparation. When applied it goes right through the paint/stain into the very cells of the stucco/wood/masonite/masonry itself.
The Lycodpdium is a non-toxic waterproofer that is Vapor Permeable. According to the EPA and the Wall Street Journal, the air inside anybody’s house is up to 5 times more polluted that the air outside. If you paint your house or put vinyl siding on it you are going to seal up all the pores and create an unhealthy environment. The Liquid Stucco system truly allows the house to breathe. It’s like human skin or Gortex. It permits the house to exhale without inhaling-which also means that moisture can never get trapped behind the coating and you will never have black mold.
STAIN BLOCKING PRIMER:
The entire home is primed with Liquid Stucco’s exclusive stain blocking primer. Only Liquid Stucco completely primes each home. Full prime is an essential step that insures the finished color will be uniform and not show dark blotches of discoloration from bleed-through. The only way to assure a perfect, permanent finish is with Liquid Stucco’s stain blocking primer.
CERAMIC THERMAL COAT:
This is the heart, core and soul of the system. In liquid form the ceramics look like melted marshmallows or library paste. The thermal coat is applied under high pressure. When cured it forms a radiant thermal barrier which insulates, cuts utility costs and makes the house more energy efficient. In addition it adds fire resistant and sound resistant to the walls.
In exterior coating products thickness equals longevity. Liquid Stucco’s ceramic thermal coat alone goes on 18-20 thick and dries 15 mil thick. Any product that claims to be a coating system and does not have a separate layer of ceramics as part of the system is nothing but another paint job that will fail! Liquid Stucco is the only coating system in the world that applies ceramics as a separate, independent layer.
There are two things that lift paint and coating products off walls. One is moisture (see Lycopodium based Surface Conditioner) and the other is thermal shock. Thermal shock is when the walls of a home get very hot and very cold throughout the year. Radical changes in temperature will cause almost anything, especially PVC based paints, to crack and fail. The ceramic thermal coat (thermal blanket) prevents the walls of your home from ever getting warmer than 72 degrees or ever getting colder than 40 degrees. In other words…thermal shock is eliminated!

PROTECTIVE TOP(COLOR) COAT:
This final phase of the Liquid Stucco system locks the home in time and gives it the lasting look and beauty of fresh paint forever. It looks like paint but has the thickness and durability of elephant hide.
It is applied under high pressure. It is very thick and never thinned.
Painting and coating products are rated by solids-by-volume. Liquid Stucco has the highest solids-by-volume rating of any product on the market-it is 86% solids! A five gallon bucket is so heavy you can barely lift it.
Liquid Stucco comes in any color paint comes in. Choose from over 800 standard colors. The whole process ends up about 20 mil thick, about the thickness of a credit card. It is guaranteed never to crack, chip, chalk or peel. It’s an elastopolymer product meaning that it bends, flexes and stretches. It has a 645% stretch ratio. The top coat contains vast amounts of very expensive titanium dioxide to all but eliminate fading. Our secret formula of four industrial resins – called Dura-Plas – bonds the whole system together.
